Yakima Cargo Carrier The Yakima Cargo Carrier is a rooftop-mounted bike rack that can quickly load and carry one bike. It is compatible with Yakima StreamLine crossbars, factory crossbars, and aerodynamic crossbars. The carrier has dimensions of 56 x 7 x 7.5 inches and weighs 14.3 pounds.

This carrier is designed to accommodate bike wheelbases up to 48 inches. It comes with universal mounting hardware that fits all Yakima StreamLine crossbars, as well as factory or aerodynamic crossbars. The rack can handle disc brakes, through axles, and complete suspension bikes. It holds the bike upright during mounting for added convenience and ensures zero contact with the bike frame, protecting carbon fiber and custom paint jobs.

Loading the bike is made easy with the front wheel in place, although some fenders may need to be removed for transport. For added security, SKS Locks are available separately. The carrier supports one bike weighing up to 40 pounds, with a minimum 18-inch crossbar spread. For a 16-inch spread, it can accommodate up to 30 pounds.

No tools or complicated assembly are required for installation. The carrier can fit bike wheelbases up to 48 inches and can handle 20-inch to 27.5-inch wheels with tire widths up to 3 inches. It can also support 29-inch wheels with tire widths up to 2.7 inches.
